“SeatbeltSolutions.com” - Anyone Installed Their Products?
I’m annoyed with their nearly total lack of instructions. They provide a VERY minimal drawing on the plastic bag their retractor comes in, but it’s for an ordinarily lap belt, NOT for a three point shoulder belt.
They have more thorough instructions on their website, but the product sent does NOT look like the photos on the website! My parts don’t have the long black anchor shown. Instead it came with a short, thicker, bent anchor. If I use that it make me twist the belt webbing which I think I a no-no. They also didn’t provide the “nylon spacer” shown. Instead it came with a very thin, chintzy plastic washer that distorts Out of shape when you tighten the bolt. No answer of their phone on a weekend of course.

Re: “SeatbeltSolutions.com” - Anyone Installed Their Products?
I'd say that comes under the "we assumed you knew" line of instructions that is all too prevalent these days.
Guys writing instructions for parts installation should be required to study 40's and 50's factory service manuals where the writers did not assume that the guy in the shop had ever worked on such a vehicle before and wrote detailed instructions at a very simple reading level. No derogatory thoughts intended but if one had made it though the third grade reading class he could read and comprehend most factory service manuals in that time frame and know exactly what he needed to do. Make the instructions simple and make them complete and don't assume that the person reading them had ever done such a task before and everyone is happy.

It appears you did not buy the 90 degree brackets (sold separately)
A lot of hardware stores have a selection of nylon spacers if you want to keep moving forward with your project. |

Re: “SeatbeltSolutions.com” - Anyone Installed Their Products?
Nope, not the problem. The 90 degree brackets came with the installation package. It’s that the part on the anchor end of the shoulder belt didn’t come with the long black anchor their online installation instructions show.
