carpet

I need to buy new carpet for my 84 C10. I was going to go with NPI but have read about it being too short and not fitting right. Also read that LMC's suck. Any suggestions on who to buy from?

I have Nifty Products (NPI) carpet in my truck that I bought from JC Whitney. Fits like a glove. I used the full coverage carpet.

I used the same stuff swervin did. Fantastic fit, no complaints. Before I laid it though, I sprayed a couple coats of sound dampener on my floor and firewall. Really quieted it down in the cab.

does anyone have the lower door carpet set from LMC or ACC? How do they fit? I need to finish my interior, so I need some opinions.

I got that for my 87 from JC whitney at the same time I got my carpet. I wanted to be sure the two shades of gray matched.

Great fit, no complaints!

I have a set of the lower door carpets from ACC. Nice, but you will have to reuse the stainless strip that was on your others if you want it and the door vent isn't exactly the same as original.

Well I got my carpet kit today, I decided to get the NPI one from Summit. It looks nice but on the hump over the transmission it is too big and buldges up. Seems like if I try to glue it down it will get folds. Has anyone else had this problem, the 4wd kit says it has a bigger hump but unless they put the wrong kit in the box the part number is right for my truck. Thought that maybe I could buy some extra padding and try to bring it up a little closer but I still think it would be too big. Any thoughts?

The NPI I got from JC Whitney fit perfect. No problems with the hump either.

I am beginning to think that it is the 4wd carpet and was boxed wrong.

I had the same problem. Truck was not originally a standard so I had no hump. When I ordered, without thinking I checked standard transmission, and my carpet showed up with room for a hump. I just went to the junkyard, unbolted one, and bolted it up under my carpet. No more problem.
