C50 high option questions

Had this in the heavy hauler section but not much traffic there.

Ok so I found another big truck by accident this one is 3/4 across the country but wow. It's a 67-72 c50 guy hasn't told me year yet. But it's a custom has the badges on the upper doors. Has 350 4 speed 2 speed rear 9 1/2 foot flat bed on the back tach manual throttle power steering power breaks and a/c. Also has a chrome front bumper and stainless grille trim. No I have seen a lot of 40-60 but never any with all the fancy stuff. It's missing some under hood a/c stuff but that can be remedied I am really interested in it. It runs well and he adjusted the brakes needs a little floor work but I don't care about that. I want to polish it up and drive the wheels off it.

So real question is was there a custom in the big trucks and how many were loaded like this. Can't be too many.

That's quite the goodie-bucket, with all those accessories, and A/C to boot. I can see why you want it!

This may help a little. Looks to have a big back window also.

Re: C50 high option questions

Small window so not fully loaded but a nicely optioned rig. It's missing the a/c compressor and brackets but he assured me it was all u bolted and unscrewed not just hacked out. I am sure someone has a set lying around somewhere. I have my suspicions the motor has been swapped but it's God a brand new q jet on it as well as new tank and lines. Gunna need some brake work but I need to find a way to get it home first before anything.

Re: C50 high option questions

They had one step-up option with comfort & convenience options. Like the traditional custom cabs in earlier years. They could also have the big back window. They didn't get much, but they got the window trim, chrome grille, a better seat, fancy knobs I think, and can't recall if they got fancy door panels but I don't think so. I always figured I'd do that, though. Make a Cheyenne Super interior.

I'd say it's a 69/70 by the fender badge and my guess would be '70. Probably was a fire truck being red, custom trim, and spotlamp. Are the miles pretty low?

66k I think. I don't think it was a fire truck. It's orange not red and has custom door panels with the scroll and fake wood on top
