CL find in North Idaho
I posted pics of this truck a couple years ago while it was being built. I guess the guy ran out of money or his wife got pissed about how much he put into it. lol I know for a fact he has over 80K in it and I'm friends with the guy who painted it and he won't let anything leave his shop that isn't show winning quality. Guy buy if you have the money!

Re: CL find in North Idaho
1966 GMC K10 4x4 Fleet Side Short Bed, Small Rear window Resto-Mod, 6 LTR Vortec 5 Speed manual gear drive transfer case. Frame off total restoration, powder coated chassis. 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering, power brakes. GM 12 bolt rear end, all new 10 bolt front end. All new 410 gears. Retro stereo with Bluetooth and USB port. Black Walnut bed with polished stainless runners and hidden tail gate latches. New BF Goodrich 33x12.5 all-terrain tires. New drive shafts. New Bilstein shocks, 3 inch lift, aluminum radiator. All new FAST 102mm intake. Shoenfeld long tube headers that have been ceramic coated. Flowmaster mufflers. Polished aluminum instrument panel with complete set of Auto meter gages. Chrome steering shaft, tilt wheel with a billet specialties steering wheel. New painless wiring harness. New chrome bumpers. Rebuilt and chromed grill and head light rings. Absolutely no rust, new two tone paint and trim. 90% complete.
Things to be done to make this truck 100% complete: Retro sound stereo is installed but needs speakers, amp and hookup. Seat is in fair condition but needs to be reupholstered. The onboard computer needs to be fine tuned to its optimal performance. Rear differential needs a new gasket (minor oil leak). Power steering needs a new seal (minor oil leak). The driver and passenger registers need adjustment. $80,000 invested, have the receipts. |

Re: CL find in North Idaho
This truck got to 29.5k and I think the CL ad truck is much cooler. So I am assuming he would get close to if not his asking. Not same body styles but my point is the buyers seem to be there.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...115-fleetside/ He should try and put it on BAT - I sold my viper there and have been happy to see some chevy trucks crossing their auctions as well |
