Re: WTB 72 Burb inside spare tire clamp assembly

A couple more notes... When I searched I wasn’t able to find enough posts and pics to get what I would consider enough info to get consensus or otherwise be truly conclusive. I usually like to see multiple people confirm the same answers, also I don’t think that post was specific to a 72 vs older. And our trucks are so old with so many things happening along the years, it’s easy for there to have been changes made by prior owners. Hopefully someone else will confirm or have more specifics. You also may have more luck posting your question on the suburban discussion side of the forum.

Re: WTB 72 Burb inside spare tire clamp assembly

Here is a picture of a 72 burb I just disassembled The handle was down in the tub so I am not 100% sure if it is hanging correct but it looked like the jack & wrench has never been out of the hold down. I might have an extra tire hold down assembly but will be later before I can check.

Re: WTB 72 Burb inside spare tire clamp assembly

Is the jack , lug wrench and Extension handle the same for a 1971 blazer?

Thanks
