Last one! I'll have to get some of the engine compartment the next time it's cleaned up; too nasty to look at right now.

Nice truck, Stingray72! I love the color. Still trying to get used to the late model bed, though. Agh! I'm cross-eyed!

Seriously, nice ride.

Terry Peerson - How does one post pictures?
Terry.. you can either attach them as your replying to the message or you can use image tags in teh BBCode. If you use image tags you can get more than 1 pic in the post like i did. ONly catch is you have to have someone hosting them for you. If you want to use image tags it would look like this

[ img ] http://www.pathtomypic.com/pic.jpg [ /img ]

there are no spaces in between the braces and img etc... I did that so the forum wouldn't look for a picture

Thanks shuttermutt. I like the 94 bed but I'm considering putting the gas tank under the bed. If I do that I might look for an original style bed. Only problem is I don't know if it was originally a stepside or regular.

Thanks; my son's pretty thrilled that he's getting it. He's done well enough in school to make it worth my while; he's a senior in HS right now & will graduate this spring two weeks before his 17th birthday. Oh yeah, he'll also have 30 hours of his college work completed at that time and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa for his college performance (G.P.A. currently 3.87)! Don't you think that above average performance deserves an above average grad present?

We're also currently rebuilding a Jeep Cherokee that needed drivetrain work so that he learns how to work on stuff. I don't want him having to learn about vehicles like I did (my DD was a Triumph Spitfire that I converted to GM electrics as each piece of the Lucus stuff failed!). There's nothing like having to change plugs & tweak carbs in the middle of a snowstorm near the top of a mountain on I-80 between Denver and anywhere, Utah to make you think about these things! It's amazing what a young man can get himself into on the way to his first Air Force duty station...

:p

PS- I've still got the pic that I took of the Spit sitting behind the sign at the Salt Flats!

DEFINATELY!! He's going to be one happy camper, thats for sure.

I did the Colorado Rockies thing in a Toyota 4x4 I had quite a few years back. Quite a bit of snow! Was a blast, tent soakin' and all. Carb tuning all the way .

BTW, I got my 67 of the jackstands for a bit yesterday, took a couple of pics. You know, I'm gonna learn to get decent pics out of this camera someday!!!
