codes p102 and p1125 help
ok I have checked the codes on my 79 6.0 . they are p102 maf and p1125 throttle body. it still will not run over 5 mins. with the maf sensor hooked up if I unhook it it stays running .also the p1125 has to do with the t/b and pedal somehow.. my pedal and tac module and ecm are not the orginal parts to the engine harness it runs ok without the maf hooked up but it acts like its flooding when I first cold start it and after a few mins. it idles smooth

Re: codes p102 and p1125 help
Is your throttle pedal from the same vehicle that the harness/tac/tb/pcm is from. If you have any of those parts mismatched it will cause all kinds of issues with the DBW system.
If it matches follow this guide http://easyautodiagnostics.com/gm/4....sensor-tests-1 to test your accelerator pedal sensor. If that tests good check the wiring harness between it and the TAC module. For the MAF sensor make sure you have 12v on the pink wire and ground on the Black/white wire. |

the MAF sensor make sure you have 12v on the pink wire and ground on the Black/white wire. I checked and they are correct . my ecm is from a 2004 2500hd 6.0 my pedal and tac from a suburban .5.3 if I have the wrong parts how will I fix it ?

Re: codes p102 and p1125 help
On the MAF try cleaning it with some MAF sensor cleaner, can be found at any auto parts store.
On the pedal, what year is the 5.3, thats what matters, the software in the TAC modules changes a few times over the years. |
