20x11's?? will they fit?!

Hi guys! Was looking at trying to order up a set of Detroit Steel 8-lug smoothies for my c20 Burb. Was looking at the 20x8 for the fron and was hoping to do their 20x11's for the rear. ANybody have any advice/suggestions on this setup? Backspacing that will work, etc. It's factory 8 lug and will be on air ride . with stock-ish suspension, big c-notch in the rear, factory disc brake front. Thanks for any help!!

Re: 20x11's?? will they fit?!

I have a 17x8 with a 255 wide tire on my 67 Burb. I can't see how this would fit without cutting the rear floor and tubs. Maybe I'm wrong though.

I'll be cutting the floor out anyway, so don't mind widening the tubs while I'm at it. My main concern is trying to find a good backspacing

I tried to figure out what rims I would need to put these tires on the panel Truck. I can't find my notes right now but I had it figured out that I would need 15x11's with a 7.5" back space. My tubs are already widened almost to the frame. I just don't want them sticking out of the wheel wells.....

20x11's would be pretty tight with stock wheel tubs. I have a bolt in c-notch with bags. I'm running 20x10s (5"BS) with a 295 45 and it's close. On occasion, I get a slight rub on the inner wheel well on the tire bulge if I turn really hard. You would have to be spot on with your backspacing AND get the right tire size with 20x11s.

Re: 20x11's?? will they fit?!

Thanks everyone for the ideas and suggestions! I'm leaning towards the 20x11's and getting 7" backspacing, as I'm planning on widening the tubs anyway Just want to make sure i clear the outer portion of the fender. Thanks again!
