15x7 vs. 15x8 rally wheels with disc brakes

1971 short/fleetside with front power disc brakes installed. Currently running 15x8 centerline wheels (yech). Been looking for a set of rallies.... and found some but they are 15x7. I know it's been covered before, but a search just doesn't seem to answer the question: will the 15x7 factory rallies work in the front with disc brakes?
They are not local so I can't just drive over and test them out.
Thanks in advance

Yes they were intended for disc brake trucks when first introduced.

Thanks I like your '71 . My first 67-72 C10 was clean 2nd owner 72 short wide and I ran 8" rally wheels on it. My Daughter has a 72 c10 longbed and she has 7" on the front 8" on the back.

Re: 15x7 vs. 15x8 rally wheels with disc brakes

Owner says the 15x7 rallies have 4" backspacing. From what I have seen, the 15x7 wheels can have 3-5/8" or 4" BS.
Anyone running the 15x7 with 4" BS on their C10? Most posts on this website refer to 15x8 all the way around. Thanks.
