1962 Front shock relocation (kit)
I’ve done multiple searches, and still can’t find any 60-62 trucks with a relocation kit. I’m running 82’ crossmember and all front end components. 2 1/2 drop spindles and 1” drop springs. My factory shock mount was too close to the upper a arm after install. Will the 63’ kit work on the 62? The 60-62 frame is boxed so i will have to weld the plates in or do some fab to bolt them in.
Thanks in advance!

Re: 1962 Front shock relocation (kit)
May not help cause its 65 but i got some and they honestly arent worth trying to bolt on unless your frame is naked. After its all said and done i think you could by builder style tabs or circle track mounts and just weld em up. Iam just going to weld mine on anyway. I bet you could do that for 20 bucks unless you just want to bolt then i guess you could go through the trouble of welding them to a plate and drilling ect. Just 2cents cause I did mine last night and cussed and drilled and then said f this and put a strap around the shock and bolted on the mounts then welded them on. I dunno?

Re: 1962 Front shock relocation (kit)
I'm still running my torsion bar front but I cut off my original front shock mounts and relocated them for better shock travel. I have 2.5 drop spindles with the T-bars turned down some also. I wasn't able to find a relocation kit either.
