Vintage air in cold/humid/winter???
I want Vintage Air in my '61, but they do away with "fresh air" intake, and just recirculate the air in the cab.
For those who HAVE Vintage air, how well does it defrost windows in the cold/humid? I'm in Canada; I need to keep this stuff in mind, eh?!

Re: Vintage air in cold/humid/winter???
I put Vintage Air System in my 63 C-10. It was only necessary to block fresh air vent on passenger side due to under dash unit on that side. I kept the vent on driver side. In Mississippi you don't need a lot of heat but if your unit is anywhere close to mine, the heat should be sufficient. I never use mine above the lowest setting. Just make sure you have good seal on ducts to windshield.

Re: Vintage air in cold/humid/winter???
I lived up in Washington state for number of years never had a problem defrosting windshield in older cars that only had recirculating air that always worked fine So I would imagine vintage air will work just fine

I'm in Oregon, I've had no issues with my VA and defogging windows. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Railroader, does it block the fresh air vent in the passenger kickpanel? I was going to install vintage air. I would like to install speakers in my fresh air holes.

Re: Vintage air in cold/humid/winter???
https://www.vintageair.com/instructions_pdf/751163.pdf
Instructions show plate to cover it. It -looks- like the original opening is going to be reasonably blocked by the evaporator unit. My question wasn't about losing the floor vents, but not putting fresh air through the heater. I have a V8 Pontiac Firefly (Chevy Sprint) that I built that has a fan on a heater core (no fresh air to heater core, just cabin air) and it sucks for defrost.
