Need help quick
Going to look at this truck in an hour. Guy says that it needs body mounts and supports.
http://www.usedvictoria.com/classifi...rtbox_31772346 What do you think about price. Is flexible. Seller had it quoted to repair at 2000. This is Canadian dollars. Have not been looki g to buy but you d it on line today. Thanks |

Re: Need help quick
For that price it shouldn’t need body mounts and suppports. It undoubtedly has other rust issues if that’s the case. Unless he’ll come down about 50 percent I wouldn’t waste my time driving too far to look at it.

Re: Need help quick
Keep looking. That is high.
If it needs body mounts what else is lurking to be found later. |

Re: Need help quick
So in US dollars he is asking 13k. I think its to high to have any rust or needing anything structural. I think its more like a 7500 - 8000 truck. Good luck!

Re: Need help quick
If the supports are that rusty common sense tells you that other area of the truck could be marginal at best. Too much for that truck... I agree with others. Maybe 7K?

Re: Need help quick
Yeah, what others said about the issues with the stands and bushings needing replaced! Crazy. I'd also be wanting to know exactly how it was lowered and the details on the driveline including receipts since its all new, right?

Re: Need help quick
Looks decent however, pictures can be deceiving. At that price, there should be nothing at all it needs!

Re: Need help quick
Thanks for all the input. I passed on the truck. No receipts for any work. Will keep looking. Not many short beds around here for sale.
