HICKEY Steering Stabilizer Brackets

Very hard to find: Original Equipment Hickey steering stabilizer brackets for Chevy, Ford and other 4x4 vehicles with a Dana 44 front straight axle. Brackets are in excellent condition, no pitting, scuffs or bent areas. Steering stabilizer damper (shock) is available on todays market.
Took a few years to stumble across this set up, but found OE brackets recently. This set up will fit a Chevy front axle 67-71. After that, a welded bracket was added at the factory. $80.00 shipped CONUS.

Re: HICKEY Steering Stabilizer Brackets

I didn't know that was Hickey. I think I might have one of those. That would look nice Zinc coated and sporting a new Stabilizer!

Re: HICKEY Steering Stabilizer Brackets

I'll be darned, I just removed identical parts from my K20, right down to the embossed number on the large bracket. Had no idea they are Hickey brackets. I bought a them a few decades ago. I plan to replace the steering stabilizer with one that can use the factory mounting pad on the axle. Still need to find a flat bracket for the tie rod tube.

This is not a f/s post!! I may offer the brackets at a later date but not at this time.

David, good luck with your sale! Didn't mean to hijack your thread but I was very interested to learn about those brackets.

Here is a set of a NOS/OE steering stabilizer brackets, Pre 72, before they welded the bracket on axle tube.
