Quick question on firewall thickness
What Gauge is the metal used on the firewall. I've been searching, but coming up empty handed. Is 16 Gauge too thick to use? I am planning to smooth the ac and heater box holes and shave down the wire gutter. Thanks all

Re: Quick question on firewall thickness
I’d use 18ga, that’s what the body panels are.

Re: Quick question on firewall thickness
Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, no one locally stocks 18ga. Looks like I'll need to order a couple sheets online.
