Center Bore Diameter

I have a -70 shortbed stepside. Disk brakes in front. Drums rear.

Question 1: the wheels is lug centric (not hub centric)?

Question 2: does it matter how wide the center bore diameter on the rim is, given yes on question1, and have this Lug Nut Seat Style Conical seat - 60 degree?

Do not know what it is on mine, but let us say it is 78,3 mm. Will rims with 108 mm center bore diameter fit?

Re: Center Bore Diameter

The original wheels are hub centric, but you can use lug centric on your truck. Most aftermarket wheels are lug centric so they fit more applications.

Yes, a larger bore lug centric wheel will fit (backspacing is a different matter).

Good luck, Rg

Re: Center Bore Diameter

Is your truck 6 lug disc or 5? If someone has converted the truck to 5 lug then both ends probably have the same pilot diameter for the wheel hub and you could get hubcentric wheels.

But if you are 6 lug still, the rear pilot will be significantly larger diameter than the front.
