C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC
Who's going? Our local club has several going. It's a nice show and they have a bunch of classic vendors there in the past.

Re: C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC
Several because there are so many C-10 not one show can handle them all. Plus some are to far to drive to.

Re: C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC
I got the ramp & 71 truck ready for the ride to Maggie Valley tomorrow, Wish me luck... the ramp has never gone on this far of a trip.
Got all the bikes loaded. I picked up another chopper Tuesday and a fat tire Mongoose today with 7 speed which later on this year will swap over to my chopper!

Re: C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC
I'd like to see the car and truck shows go back to the way they used to be , 1 winner with a check for $500.00 or a $1,000.00 , They could probably still do it that way if they stopped giving away participation trophies .

Re: C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC
I wanted to make it out this year, but I had a new blessing come about a week ago. And as far as trophies go, I’ll never be able to spend enough on my truck to compete with a lot of guys. Trophies don’t mean squat. It’s about comradare and spending time with family.

Re: C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC
My daughter and grandson drove the 71 up and I drove the ramp truck. They both did fine but the ramp lost 4 quarts of oil on the trip. The bottom of the motor is covered in oil. I think the oil pan gasket is shot!
The 71 brought another trophy home too! 4 years running! There was over 140 trucks there today. I registered the ramp and I put my daughter's name on the 71. She was tickeled to have her name called out.

Re: C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC
I was wondering the same thing. Everybody seems to have a "national" event. It's ridiculous at this point.

All said and done after maybe a better name, I bet the show was pretty good like the old show at Maggie Valley, even with another Nationals across Tennessee the same weekend (in the same region)

Re: C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC
Chuckles, 72Bluz RIP, invited me to join him at Maggie Valley one year and I really regret not making that show.
I think I'd really like to make the Nashville one some time.

Re: C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC
The show was over 150 C-10's are at least that's what I herd anyway!
National has nothing to do with driving time. I don't think the promoter cares how far you have to drive. I think it's jut a name that draws people. I'm glad there are several shows this way I don't have to drive for a whole day to get there and spend a fortune to go. The swap meet was good also. Ole red done good but the ramp had more conversation's with folks but the judges didn't like it I guess, which it's not really a C 10!
