emission hoses
hi, a while back someone posted a picture of the emission hoses on the passenger side tank. I replaced the two at the top of the tank one 6 inches one about 13 inches both 5/16. they connect from the tank to some tubes that run up into the passenger roof pillar. is there a hose looped 180 degrees at the top of the tubes? maybe that's where my fuel smell is coming from. has anyone ever taken the tubes out from the pillar? Im not sure if there is a loop of 5/16 hose up there. it seems that could crack after 48 years. thanks, brown 70

Re: emission hoses
I believe that the vapor line is continuous steel where it goes up inside the pillar, and does not have a flex hose on it. How would someone get in there to change it? That isn't to say that the line hasn't rusted through, and giving off vapors. How are the hoses at the tank?
