I have a 66 fleetside long bed. Just discovered that the wheel hub is all messed up and the bearing race is too lose and just spins. So I figure no biggie just get a new hub....………….. UMMM! Why cant I find any 6 lug drum hubs???

Re: Am I missing something here?
Definitely appreciate the offer brother. I am still stumped as to why I cannot just purchase a new hub for this thing??? Does anyone know if the 63's will work on my 66' ??

Re: Am I missing something here?
Not everything is reproduced for these trucks and that is why lots of us sit on every part we can. They make the drum because it is the same front and back. That 63 hub should fit.

I couldn't find any replacements for my '66 C20, either. Your best bet is used originals from a board member, or local junk yard.

Re: Am I missing something here?
I could not agree it you more and more. The guys that corn stash there old parts. Is drying up ever faster and faster.Back in 2006 when the metal prices went throw the roof.Saw plenty of these trucks and parts stash cubby holes end up at the scrap yard.I see parts like all the ones that guys are looking for.The collector market for these trucks will dry up fast. With the new rules come on by the USA o see re pop parts being hard to come by.I have a guy Back in Utah that is stashing tons of new parts.going to wait until the part is not available. Then he will sell his stash.Make a Killing

Man I was going to throw out my stock drums and control arms. Maybe I'll hang onto them instead.

Re: Am I missing something here?
Thanks for all of the offers guys.. Much appreciated. I was able to score a set of front hubs from a local here only a few hours from me.. Best part was they were free..
Getting them all cleaned up and ready to have the drums turned.
