question for those that have done hidden wood bed mount
hey everyone. first thanks for all the help everyone has been giving me one redoing my bed/ tank. I did a search on hidden bed mounting options, but i didnt see any answers to how to address the most rear mount location. its not accessable at all once the wood is on. im thinking about weldong a nut in there. just want to see what others have done. thanks again

I ran into this too and what I did was used a grade 8 bolt and welded a custom washer to it, then dropped it into the pocket that you are pointing to so that the threads of the bolt went through the brace and through the frame where I added a regular washer and a nut. The trick is getting the custom washer cut to fit nicely into the hole so that it will bind and not turn as you apply the nut from below.

All done. Works good. Thanks again for the great idea. Much better then trying to weld a nut down in that rusty hole.
