Wheel Vintiques 6 lug
Has anyone tried the WV wheels on a K-10? They are now showing a 15x8 6x5.5 wheel. Do they take the dog dish caps, is the backspacing correct for discs? I have been scouring CL and junkyards for over a year and haven't located a set but would pop for these if they take the caps.

Re: Wheel Vintiques 6 lug
I bought a set but have only test-fitted them on my '69 K5 Blazer which has drum brakes so I can't help you on the disc brake clearance. They do take hub caps. The back space puts the inside edge of the wheel almost up against the tie rod end. I haven't adjusted the toe in so maybe that will eliminate the interference issue. If not I will use 1/4" spacers and some longer lugs. Back is fine. Blazer is getting close to returning home so I can start putting it back together. O/S body work done, two coats of polyester primer and one coat of high build.

Thanks, rsavage. Post some pics when you get them on, the blazer is looking good. Are they powder coated grey or white?

Re: Wheel Vintiques 6 lug
Not answering your specific question. But I have the WV 8-lug 16x8 rims on my Blazer. Correct backspacing, and the stock 3/4 ton dog dish caps go right on. I should note that when I bough my set, WV no longer offered white powder coat finish. All they sold was black satin powder coat or chrome finishes.
