To all Canadian built truck owners
Do any of you Canadian truck owner have a copy of an Oshawa build sheet?
Just curious. I have never seen one from the 67-72 trucks. Post them if you got them. Just the build sheets not the glove box SPID.

Re: To all Canadian built truck owners
I too have never seen any in the trucks I've had or parted. Curious to see what's out there.

Nope, i too have never seen one. Built lots of trucks, parted lots of trucks, found them in almost every canadian car i've had, but never in a truck.

Re: To all Canadian built truck owners
I've never seen one...but then again, I've never looked for one except for in my own truck, which was a Fremont/Calif. truck.

Re: To all Canadian built truck owners
I don't have a truck specific build sheet, but I do have a number of passenger car build sheets from Oshawa.
These do not look like the normal 8.5x11 printout, which might be why they were not preserved (maybe folks didn't realize what they were and they got pitched). K

Re: To all Canadian built truck owners
I'm 1000% sure they were used therefore will turn up.
They were intended to be thrown away at the end of the line just like extra fasteners, coffee cups and other misc papers. The fact is that it was just easier to leave them in place and build the vehicle up around them, which is why you find them in the seat springs, under the carpet (with tar sprayed over half of them, or a screw shot through the middle) or stuffed in obscure corners of body panels. I've thrown away several thousand of them myself. In addition to defining the option content that needed to be added they also helped keep the build in sequence. As a result, any area where components were built up remotely and then conveyed to the main line in sequence are fair game for build sheets and build sequence number notations: front and rear axle, engines, transmissions, seats, front end sheetmetal, above the headliner, under the carpet, inside the door trim panels, etc. Even with all our "technological advancements" we still build cars and trucks with a piece of paper hanging on them.
