Sound system upgrades!
Music is huge for me, and a mono center speaker from behind the dash is not gonna cut it. How have you guys improved that in your truck? I've been looking at kicker panels and maybe hiding the sound system in the glove box. Keep the dash looking original. Anyway, hope to see some cool $#!t!

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...prune=-1&f=111 There are all kinds of threads on center speakers. I did a double 4" speakers that are held in place with the speaker bracket.

Re: Sound system upgrades!
You should consider using a Marine Stereo Enclosure (sometimes called a weatherproof or waterproof stereo housing). This can be mounted under the dash, looks nice compared some of the auto "under dash housings", and you have a better chance of reaching it and seeing it compared to hiding it in the glove box. Make a radio delete plate that can take a couple gages (or not, maybe an extra cigarette lighter jack/USB port or two - for phones and whatnot).

Re: Sound system upgrades!
I have kick panel speakers and a bose sub from a 2010 tahoe where the jack is. Powering it is a 4-channel alpine amp. Sounds awesome and very space and budget friendly.
