Pix of our trucks at SEMA 2018
I was lucky enough to go again this year. Though I would share some photos of what I saw, for your viewing pleasure. Some interesting approaches, subtle touches and some no so subtle.

Maybe this is a silly question, but where do these beauties end up? Looks like a TON OF $$$ went into them. I’d be scared to take em out for a spin!

Re: Pix of our trucks at SEMA 2018
Edward, I've wondered the same thing. Very few of the vehicles there have "for sale" signs on them. The only one I saw this year (not to say there weren't many others I didn't see) had an "Available" sign by it. It was a tri-year sedan (I'm being very discreet here) that was gorgeous, just like everything else there. I talked to a guy in the booth where the car was displayed who told me that it had sold that day for $165K. He said he had no idea what it cost to build. My belief is that SEMA vehicles often get sold, but the transactions are usually very much under the radar. People who have that level of discretionary income typically don't spend a lot of time talking about it. ;-)

There was a black 67 SWB a few years ago, not as nice as these that ended up in some collectors hands out here in the San Jose area. My friends neighbor bought it for less than half of what it cost to build.

I'd like a better picture of that SS hood. Anyone have one? Looks cool.

Re: Pix of our trucks at SEMA 2018
I saw the blue one, noticed the rear bumper was painted or looked painted. Wasn't fond of the wheel color, should have matched the trim parts. But what do I know. I would drive the crap out of anyone of them. They started out as drivers, until they needed restoring. No matter how nice a car or truck is done, eventually we sell it or rebuild cause we're bored. I say enjoy it, and when its worn out build it again.
