Restoring 72 Ambulance, Looking for color info
Well I haven't been on here in 5 years. Still haven't bought myself a 67-72 truck. Have acquired an 86 Shelby Charger since and work at a antique car restoration shop now. In charge of all the metal and paint work.
We are doing a frame off on a 72 ambulance. I'll post pictures in a few. Chassis is done, and next step is engine/trans/transfer case. Google has been no help with the amount of vehicles modded ever so slightly. Looking for 100% original info on engine bay colors. Most pictures I find only show the top half of the motor. It's the items lower in the bay or hidden by the fan shroud that I can't get correct colors for. We started with a very sound vehicle but not worthy enough for color reference for engine bay items. Thanks for any info and helping this vehicle return back to stock form, Kyle |
