11r22.5 on a c60

Hello,

Currently in the process of swapping out the stock 20 inch dayton split rims on a 1970 c60 for something a bit more common. I've read a few peoples posts about using 10r22.5's but not 11's. Anyone try it and run into fitment issues? Reason for going a bit wider being the availability of cheap 11r22.5 rubber.

Thanks

I put 11R22.5 on my 1979 C70. They fit just fine.

Re: 11r22.5 on a c60

Should not be an issue at all. I work on school buses. Most buses went to 11R22.5 tires around 2000. The 11R's are insralled on 8.25 wide rims, the 10R's on 7.5 wide rims, Have seen many 11 R's on 7.5 rims, no problem.
