Light problem
Almost have all my kinks worked out but when I’m driving at dark and go to kick on my highbeams my dash lights go out but if I keep them on low beam the lights will stay on. Any idea what is causing this?

Re: Light problem
Check your ground wires 1st, then double check. Dash should have a ground wire clip, and a couple built into the harness.

Re: Light problem
90% of electrical gremlins are grounding problems.

Re: Light problem
Check the plug at the dimmer switch. These are nortorious for getting corroded or the switch is bad.

Re: Light problem
X2! Just replace my dimmer. Chased wiring and eventually checked the dimmer. It was full of corrosion. $12 bucks at NAPA and problem solved.
