Anybody need a 283 / 3 speed manual from a 58?

I pulled a original but filthy 283 and 3 speed manual from my 58 project and it's just sitting in here, taking up space. It turned over by hand though, I was quite impressed considering that it sat since 92 and looks like a dumptruck dropped a load of dirt on it.

If any forum members could put this to use, you can come by and load it up. Not sure if this is a "classifieds" post since it's free, but if so I can delete.

No picture at the moment, just imagine a 283 that was sprayed with mud and there ya go.

You are a premium member so you can post a classified add. There is always someone hunting for a 283 these days. If you are on the Hamb post it in the Hamb classifieds with LOCAL PICKUP only clearly stated. Otherwise someone will want you to ship it half way around the world.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Yes, but no. Get a small journal 327 and a set of custom pistons and you could build a 302.
