MY Truck
I got my truck!!! It is a 69 instead of a 70. I told shadetree to start with ot was but he said noooo it was a 70 . I was right. Runs and drives great!! Been playing all day , already talked to the bodyshop and with a little luck and some hard earned cash it will be fixed and painted by March!! Will post pics later if I can if not will be next weekend when we get back home. Told hubby I was sick and couldn't go this trip but he didn't believe me.

does it have the 69 inner grill? please let it have the 69. its the big difference in the 69 and 70. i cant really tell if it has one in the pics. nice truck though. i like. is that bondo or just primer?

thanks not sure on inner grille but its cracked in several places.
just primer on rust spots 305 3 in floor 4.11 outback hubby said if he parts the cheyenne i can have the built 350 and 350th..BUT I WANT HIS 402 GUESS I WILL HAVE TO SWEET TALK HIM.

she has already laid claim to my sweet gauge cluster i got from andy my new dash pad and she wants the 402 I DONT THINK SO gotta draw the line somewhere besides hers will be painted before mine toguys watch what you wish for when you wish your lady would get into trucks LOL:p

thanks for all the great comments!!. I am going to paint it a older corvette blue, change the metallic fleck in the paint and use it over a gray primer which will make it a little lighter we used to race on a short track and it was the color of the race car. I am going to keep the painted bumpers ( I think) . Dinnut how can you tell the difference in the inner grill. This one is painted black but but from what I can tell in different pics I think it is the 69 but I ain't real sure. Today has been GREAT. I hope I didn't get on ya'lls nerves by rattling on about the truck . thanks again. Oh yea an update on the 402....told him he can keep it . I have to stay on his good side I need his help on the heavy lifting stuff...hehehe
I even worked on it a little today I put a new set of wipers and a dimmer switch on it all by myself,,,,I am so proud
