Color of TRUCKS Copperhead

Anyone out there like the color of that truck. I am seriously thinking of painting mine this color over the winter.

I know this also may go against most peoples thinking, but I think good ol rallies would be cool on that too. But what color would you want the rallies if they were on it? Body color, silver etc..

Anyone want to comment ?

Thanks Bowtiefreak

I think that color is sweet!

As for the color of the rallies, I would consider painting the same color, although I am unsure if that would be too much copper...

Stacey had the color made special for the project. It's called Copperhead Metallic from PPG. He Had someone in TN make it up.

it started as a Ford Ranger color I believe with more metal flake. I was planning to do something that color for a couple of years now. The special mix is even better.

That color needs some chrome to make it work. Put a set of Chrome Corvette style rallye wheels on it....

I was going to paint my truck back to the stock bronze color. But after seeing the copperhead show, I fell in love with that color ! Now I need to decide which one to go with ! :p

only thing im not that crazy about on that truck is the choice of wheels. they look good up close but from far away they look like the tt2 that is getting old unless you use it in a bigger size then it looks cool. i would have gone for a tricker wheel than that.

My 72 is going to be close. I picked a GM color....Sunset Orange Met. I had a 02' Camaro SS this color for a few months before I wrecked it. I bought my 72 last year with the plan of painting it SOM.....then I saw Copperhead....it will be close to the color!

I was kinda thinking of that color with a white cab. I also think the stainless wheel opening molding that runs down the side of the 67-68 trucks would look good too.
Any Photoshoppers out there want to play with this. That would be cool to see.
N2TRUX-
I was thinking of chrome corvette and camaro rallies w/derby caps too.

The way I look at it is everyone copies everyone, manufacturers included: Like Blues, silvers, whites, blacks, reds, golds, etc,ect...

So, It doesn't really bother me that if I paint my truck this color that someone else will too.

I know what ya mean, I used to see hardly any factory painted yellow vehicles when I was little, now you cant go down the road without seeing a whole heard of them
