PS Gear Box
I am converting my 69 c10 2wd to PS. What year gear box would you recommend. From there I will source the parts through probably Rock Auto to match up the kit. The kits i see look to be a tad bit on the expensive side vs sourcing the parts yourself? Unless of course someone can direct me to a kit with in reason.....I'm all ears. LOL....my just rebuild the wood bed this winter has turned in to a total rear and front rebuild....along with the wood bed

Re: PS Gear Box
What parts are you in need of? Brackets, pulleys, pump and gearbox? If so it may be wise to post a want to buy add on the parts board for a complete matched set. If not you may have alignment issues with your belts.

Re: PS Gear Box
In need of entire list of parts to convert manual steering to power steering. Was looking for advise on best ps gear box to purchase (or what year truck) as many years are a bolt on. From there i have enough experience to source correct parts to make it work. I figured I'd put PS in while the whole front end is apart. I'm currently waiting for my drop spindles from ECE to finish up the disc brake conversion.

Re: PS Gear Box
After not receiving any recommendations I went with the CPP 500 series gear box. I put one on my 69 pro touring Camaro and was happy with it along with the reviews on this site. LOL.....I'm not one to let moss grow under my feet

Re: PS Gear Box
Sorry for the late reply, but Redhead have always been good the times we used them. Cleared up a lot of issues on an Excursion with a lift.
