Disc Brake instal swap

I’m going to pick up a 1972 c1500 and use the spindles to swap my 1969 gmc over to a disc brake front end. The only problem is the 1972 truck is a 5 lug. Can I spimply put a 6 lug rotor in place of the 5 lug or will there be other complications. Or would be easier to keep the 5 lug rotors and just swap the axel shafts on my 69 to 5 lug? It seems like 5 lug original wheels are easier to find anyway.

Re: Disc Brake instal swap

You could check for part numbers for the bearings. I'm guessing that they are different. But there may be a bearing that fits the spindle and the hub, just not a common number.
