69-72 Style Bucket Seat Installation Instructions

I decided to install 69-72 bucket seats in my 1968 project vehicle. I was able to piece together information on the setup through various threads on this site. I've also been working on reproducing the under floor bucket seat cab brace used in 69-72 trucks which seems to be a hard to find piece for the conversion. Through the course of that work, I have documented the conversion of my own truck in the attached PDF file. It’s written in a magazine article “how-to” style. Hopefully this brings a lot of the information I’ve pulled together and learned in one place. While the instructions feature the reproduction brace I fabricated, I still think it would be useful for anyone doing this conversion even if you already have all the needed components. Since the knowledge base on this site is amazing, feel free to provide feedback on these instructions. If you have questions, comments or additions, I’d be happy to update it accordingly.

Went this last summer and biggest issue is getting the holes drilled in the right place. Console is piece of cake with dimples in the floorfor the front hiold downs and itd be nice to have the same for the bucket brackets.
