Removing 4x4
Im planning on buying a donor truck for the LS. I'm looking at an 02 k2500 chevy, with the 4x4. I'm not interested in the 4x4, can I remove the 4x4 and use the trans. if so, what trans does it have ( its a 6.0L so I'm assuming it has a 4l80E)? what adjustments are needed?
kinda a newbie here, so I may have many questions. |

Re: Removing 4x4
Chances are you'll need another tailhousing and tailshaft for the trans, so no it isn't usable w/o a 2wd doner trans.

Re: Removing 4x4
Get just what you need from a truck that has just what you need.
