Re: spark plugs
I'm not sure what Accel cost now but remember pulling the set of plugs I replaced a se of Accels with back out and putting the Accels back in when it wouldn't run worth squat with the new plugs.
In this case we really need the plug number of the plugs you are running now as Accel makes shorty header plugs for the older heads that take the plugs with the washer and the taper seat plugs. NGK shows a shorty taper seat plug NGK UR6 6630 but no info on the heat range from my source. .

Re: spark plugs
Ok,,got a set of accel 576S/8199 spark plugs. I've got a stock 350 sb with headers on it. What should the plugs be set at? Out of the box, they're set at .030 which I know is, I think, to close. Any advise? Thanks,,,,Bill

Re: spark plugs
It calls for .035 if you run points. Probably .045 with hei Some will say more with HEI but the strap will only spread so far.
Beyond that you are going to get into individual tuner's theories on it.
