Angry Well aint this fun!

WELL! i got to the store and shut my truck off, come back out to start it and NOTHING not even a click. The power workes fine, nice and bright head lights but nothing. So i call AMA and they come and try boosting it and nothing. Then we had to tow it to the shop... it was a terrible sight seeing her up on the truck being dragged away.....

Also since it is feezing cold here and there is a foot of snow on the ground and its still snowing i had to take her to a shop..... and am unable to do the repairs my self

My guess is that the weak battey caused the starter and alternator to fail... or somthing around those lines... ARrgg just what i need with final exams, chirstmas and birthrdays.... to stress me out...

the alternator is ok... and thats about it, it has trouble under load and cool temps(like lights stereo and heater) I have to fix that as well, which i can do, and panned on doing this weekend but now that plan is scratched.

Sounds like a bad fusible link near the starter.

Well all is better now. Turns out that the P/O had put a starter in her that was way to small, and the strap between the selenoid had broke off! I was totaly suprised at the mechanic since he came in on a satruday and charged me normal hours to get it done, it was done before i even got up in the morning!

So i took her home and went to work on the alternator, decided i wanted somthing bigger any way, and went and got a new 78amp one and tossed her in. She is now starting and running perfectly!
