Cowl vent gasket

Taking care of leaks. I'm not thrilled with my new gasket. It's seated and sealed in as best as it can be but the bend doesn't sit flush now. It is sealed and I have it pulled down as tight as I can. It functions good too.

Re: Cowl vent gasket

Nothing wrong with that at all!

I'm jealous of your cowl vent; some previous owner filled mine!

Re: Cowl vent gasket

I had the same issue.
The first seal was too think.
Ordered another from Steele Rubber and it was better.

Same thing happened on the side vent.
