Exclamation Cant find Headers that fit

We are moving along on our 1954 Chevy S10 conversion project. We have the engine in (350 small block) and the cab is on. We are trying to find headers that will fit around the steering column. The engine has vortec heads to the ports are square, which seems to make it a little harder to find heads. We figure we definitely need huggers, but can't seem to find any that we know will fit for sure.

Any ideas??

Holy cow, with the 19,000 S10-AD conversion threads on this forum you'd think this exact issue would have been well resolved by now.

Re: Cant find Headers that fit

Jump into my build thread. I have the same engine. Hedman makes headers where the drivers side has the two center pipe bulge out and around the steering shaft.

Here's the part:

Square ports:

Couldn't find the pics in my build thread, so here is what it looks like when they are installed.

Wonder if those headman headers will work for me, I have the 350 with vortec heads but in the original frame. I have fitment issues with the sanderson headers I bought a long time ago.

Those look perfect gigamanx. I saw this photo of a guy who modified his own, but I like yours better:
