366 Engine Upper Radiator Hose

I am searching for a molded upper radiator hose part number that fits a 1970 Chevy C60 with a 366 engine.

Searched the forums for "Hose" and searched "Radiator" for anything pointing me to a part number for an upper radiator hose for a 1970 Chevy C60 366 engine. I can't come up with anything.

I have the lower radiator hose part number; NAPA 7705, Gates 20968, and Continental 60920.

Google search has been a challenge also.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: 366 Engine Upper Radiator Hose

if i recall my 1988 c-70 366 gas has a short rubber hose to metal pipe and then short hose to rad . the lower is a 1 hose setup tho .

i went and checked rockauto and they didnt have a listing for that hose .

i know a guy on all his projects he builds he does a length of copper pipe and rolls a bead in each end for the hose and clamp to bight on . never has a problem . and he polishes the copper each spring for the car shows he hits up .

I will check my truck later and see if I have any numbers on the hose. My upper is one piece molded.

Re: 366 Engine Upper Radiator Hose

I don't know if this will help you or not because I am not sure about all the subtle, or not-so-subtle, differences between a c50 and a c60, but when I search for my truck on Napa using 68 c50 with a big block (I have a 366 but had to choose 427 since there isn't a 366 listed on their site for that combo), it shows part number NBH 7658 for the molded upper radiator hose. The hose pic looks similar to what is on my truck. I have not verified any of the measurements against my hose since I searched for this late at night.

Re: 366 Engine Upper Radiator Hose

Thanks Sweetk30. If I can't find a molded radiator hose I will likely do something like what you described.

66BlueBeast - thanks for the part number on that. I went to Napa Online and didn't even get an option for a C50 or C60. I didn't even see the 427, but I am not super familiar with how the site works beyond my feeble attempt. I do believe the 427 hose should be the same for the 366...someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Nobighurry that would be awesome if you could check out if your setup has a part number on the hose. If anything it would maybe validate 66BlueBeast's part number. What I have found is if I can get one part number then it's fairly easy to cross-reference other part numbers used by other brands.

Thanks for the quick replies.

I just happened to come across the heavy duty section one day by accident. I couldn't remember the URL so I had to google it tonight to get back there; apparently they like to hide it. Here is the main page where you can select your vehicle:

Re: 366 Engine Upper Radiator Hose

20968 is the same lower hose for a 427 powered truck. The upper hose for a 427 is 20933:
