B&M vs Monster Transmission
Need to get me a torque converter for my street blazer but I’m in between purchasing a B&M vs Monster transmission... any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Re: B&M vs Monster Transmission
I don't have any info on of either of those brands. I have an FTI and have been very happy with it.

Re: B&M vs Monster Transmission
I have had horrible experience with Monster. I would suggest staying away from them.

Re: B&M vs Monster Transmission
We have bought several PTC transmissions & converters with zero issues. They will make it to specs to fit w rest of your drivetrain & use.

Re: B&M vs Monster Transmission
I have used B&M products for years and never had any problems.
There Shift Improver kit is the best on the market. .

Re: B&M vs Monster Transmission
Consider local. I have a local guy who is competitive with those companies and backs his with a warranty that is local so I can just take it to him. Shipping a transmission isn’t cheap.

Re: B&M vs Monster Transmission
Misread what you we’re looking for, only saw the title. I’ve used B&M and summit. Both were comparable in performance and I would buy either one again.

Re: B&M vs Monster Transmission
I've always been partial to Hughes Performance. Top quality products and great tech support. http://www.hughesperformance.com/hd-street-strip/
I've used their Street Rod 2000-2200 converter and their TowMaster 1800-2200. Wouldn't give you nickel for the low priced B&M stuff, and good luck getting B&M to even answer the phone. Same is true of B&M cheap shift improvement kits for TH350 compared to TransGo reprogramming kit. The TransGo kit is night and day better and results in firmer but not harsh shifts like with the B&M kit.
