67-68 cowl hood
has anyone heard if they improved the fit on these yet ? I seen gmc pauls post and they still dont have a listing on these on their site . mine got bent in an accident and it was way oilcan before so im not going to try and save it

You might be able to cut the cowl off your bad one and install it on a good stock hood.

I remember a thread that GMC PAUL stated he didn't sell them due to the poor fit. I imagine that he would be selling them if they fixed the problems. They probably are still a poor fit

Made my own from a wrecked cowl hood from a '90's truck.Grafted the cowl part to my stock hood . Don't like the way aftermarket parts fit.

was on gmc pauls site yesterday for some other stuff he has the stock ones back in stock says they fit much better . hopefully they will come back with the cowl ones shortly I got a little time I need to save a few bucks . I still need a rad support , grill , bumper and brackets and some little stuff but I have been working and buying already

I'd really like a steel cowl hood, any news on current quality. Are there several different Suppliers of steel cowl hoods?
