Re: Cab glass

A lot of folks buy from Bob's classic auto glass in Oregon. http://bobsclassicautoglass.com/

Brothers is in cali in Corona and they have the glass (I didn't check the prices) https://www.brotherstrucks.com/Repla...products/1274/
I absolutely do not recommend the one piece bent in the middle windshields for 47/53 though as they usually have an extreme amount of distortion in the glass in the middle as they heated the middle to bend the glass and that disturbs the plastic in the laminate.

There may be a shop closer that you could drive to or fit in a long weekend to so Cal or Lake Havasu where Premier street rods is. https://www.premierstreetrod.com/dep...Glass+Kit.html

Most good old school glass shops can cut the glass for you if you have the patterns Prices vary depending on local labor rates and the shops overhead but You are looking for the old glass shop that has been in the same place for decades as the quickie slap a windshield places aren't setup to do it. The places that replace glass in log trucks and equipment are the ones you are looking for there.

A total side note; My aunt Yevon Davison managed the Bank of America in Yuba City for a number of years.

Re: Cab glass

Auto City glass has had good reviews from a number of people lately.

Used to be that if we had the old glass for patterns we could go to a local glass shop and have the glass cut with he edges sanded and pretty much ready to put in for 25/30 bucks a window and drop the patterns off in the morning and pick the new glass up in the afternoon. Now, labor rates in some areas might really up the cost on having it done but it is worth checking. There also may be a go to glass shop in the Sacramento area that rodders and custom car folks go to. The cost might factor out when you figure that any online mail order glass you get will come with the cost of shipping.

Looking on the Bobs auto glass site with 255 for the 7 pieces for a three window you are averaging 55.00 for each piece of glass plus UPS shipping that is probably going to add a minimum of 100.

Worth checking out this shop. http://ardenautoglass.com/
