The Art Of Winching
This literature came with the truck I bought. I thought it was cool and wanted to share it.

Pulling the vehicle up a tree reminds me of the movie "The Gods Must Have Been Crazy"

Re: The Art Of Winching
I've seen this before and I've always wondered how many tries it took to get it up and how much damage did they do to the truck getting it back down. I also have to wonder if they did something with mounting the battery to keep the acid from leaking out of the caps. Those old school batteries didn't like to be on their side.
Not saying it isn't cool, just wondering.

Re: The Art Of Winching
That's a cool book. I went to recovery school when I drove tow trucks. I learned a lot and I thought it was a waste of time because I thought I was good. A winch can be an amazing tool.

Re: The Art Of Winching
How about the things you can do with a winch on a rollback? It's like having a big set of arms and hands. This sure is a cool book.

Re: The Art Of Winching
Man, that's cool and I'd read it cover to cover.
And I don't have anything with a winch. Geometry and physics can be your friend or enemy based on knowledge.
