Thanks for posting. I did see that but decided to pass as it claims to be a “replacement” part that may differ from original and not clearly NOS. Another eBay seller had one recently listed but I couldn’t get a clear answer as to whether or not the rubber firewall seal was present.

Good point. I’m sure I have one from Wes on the K20 now. For some reason I was thinking I’d have to cut it in order to add unlike OEM.

I’d consider it Roger, thanks. Looking for a USA made piece and it would have to have the eye hole for the tensioner spring at the rear threaded end.

Someone on the forum had a parking brake cable made with the rubber fire wall seal. I was thinking that was you. I’ll dig to see if I can find the link or email but I reached out to the company that the forum member had used and they said, no problem they could make one. I think they just need the fire wall seal sent to them and confirmation on length.

I just found the email, it was Mo-ma manufacturing and it was a speedometer cable.
Still, it seems like the same approach could be taken. Couldn’t a place (machine shop etc) fabricate the cable and complete the ends after the seal is on the cable?

Jeff thanks. I’ll keep that in mind. Inline Tube offers these but it’s a gamble whether or not you receive the correct one. Ask me how I know

I have had speedo cables made around a gasket. Here’s one I had made up for the k20. The guy that makes these uses correct looking ends and British made cable that you can just about tie into a knot and it works. This is a cable that MoMa made.

This spring I intend to replace some items on the K20 and the brake cables are on my list.

I purrchased it from Wagner over 30 years when I had an account with them I'll check my containers this after noon and see if I can find it.

I found the cable. The wagner part # is F73000. The info I wrote on the box states it fits 1969 thru 1972 with turbo 400 transmission.

Hi Pete, before leaving for our New Years vacation trip had though that you were moving forward with the cable from RogerKoop, am back at it now and getting caught back up with things. For front park brake cables in GM NOS, we have one 2wd (140) and one 4wd (141) brake cable stored on the shelf/ready to ship, here are some pictures of the available 4wd cable.
