Re: rear brake line pic

That end would go the steel line on the frame. The other end of the hose should be a built in female T where the lines come from each wheel cylinder

Re: rear brake line pic

What year and model of truck? There are differences over the years and between K and C models and between coil and leaf springs on the axle end.
The first photo shows a 67 C10 axle set up. Which I believe is the same through 70.
In the second photo the larger hose is the brake hose. It goes through the frame above the spring to the fitting on the hard line. The correct hole in the frame should be D shaped. A clip like the front hoses (3rd photo red arrow) use will secure the hose to the frame. Red arrow in 2nd photo points to the location of the clip behind the frame stiffener for the spring base.

Good luck. I hope this helps.

Re: rear brake line pic

All thanks for the replies. I actually poured me a big Dickel and coke last nite and went out and just drank my drink and looked at the frame, and it hit me after a few sips. On how i took it apart a year ago. On my 72 there is a steel tab sticking out of the cross brace behind the differential like the last picture from HO455. and it all came together

State Dependent Learning - You just had to get in the mindset you were in for tear down to remember! Dickel wins again!
