do any of you guys with compressors leave them full of compressed air or do you bleed them every time your done for the day? I've been bleeding mine, but was wondering if any of you guys just leave them full of compressed air?

it depends on how often you use it i use mine like not every day so i tend to bleed it every day if youre not using it daiily the air will create moisture in it that will create rust so bleed it

Everyone I know of (that includes me too, I know myself, I think....) leaves them full all the time.

My compressor is huge and it would take 15 minutes to refill from empty every day.

I don't hear of many people bleeding them on a consistent basis. Yes moisture will build but I would think if you bled it like once a week or every couple of weeks for that matter of fact you'd probably be alright. The rust takes quite a while to develop

It sounds like he is saying that he drains his empty at the end of every day.

I open the drain on mine every week or so to drain out any moisture, but I don't let it drain empty. Tht's pretty hard on the compressor having to fill up every time you use it.

The moisture is going to be there no matter if you bleed it or not. Leave it full but bleed the drain valve until it blows dry after every day that you use it.

I have had my compressor for 17 years and I have never let the air out...just drain the moisture out at least once a week...more if you use it more.

To add to this...drain more often in humid climates, and if you are expecting a freeze, better make sure they are drained.

I never completly drain the tank, I only bleed the moisture from the tank after I use it.
