Shortened Booster Bracket
I am trying to get my booster closer to my firewall (71 C10 with power brakes). Capnfabs bracket won't work with my stock 11" booster with auto column so I am going to need to find or make a shorter bracket. My first thought was to cut mine down and weld it shorter but the truck is my DD so I came up with a couple other possibilities that may work...input needed:
1. Get a pre-1971 bracket (modification needed?) 2. Get a bracket like this from Summit and modify? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/r...del/c10-pickup 3. Get a replacement 71+ bracket and cut it down/weld it and swap it out with the current one Any other possibilities I am overlooking? Thanks.

Re: Shortened Booster Bracket
The pre-71 are shorter (left vs right). Shortening the rod would just make the rod too short to reach the master, I am trying to modify the bracket to bring the booster closer to the firewall (which will then require shortening the rod).
