74 grill ?

I was selling some truck parts and the guy said he had a grill for my 78 blazer which he said was a 74 ,paid $50 so I took it, one small chip on the blades. If it is a 74 I understand from reading on here a 74 won,t fit on a 78. I like it, it has the 454 emblem and I have a 454 in the blazer

It will fit in a 78, you just need to purchase the grille brackets for a 73-74 Chevy. A lot of companies make them brand new. I actually just got a set myself.

These are all of the brackets you'll need to mount a 73-74 grille. Does the truck you're converting to a 73-74 grille have inside our outside hood release

There are many companies the sell this bracket kit, just search "73-74 Chevy Grille Brackets", and choose whichever vendor you'd like to buy from.

BTW if your 78 grille is in good shape, I'd keep the Blazer looking like a 78.
