69 GMC risen from the dead
This is a build diary of my truck. I will update this thread as I go along with the truck primarily for my personal log. I found this truck a few months back in the mountains of Tennessee. Hoping it was one of my papaws ole trucks I remember him selling to an older feller when I was a young seedling but As it turns out who knows if it’s actually it or not the old man died and so did the story of the truck. But I’m going to say it was his anyways because it sounds cool. The only parts salvageable from the cab was the doors, dash and front cowl section but the frame was near perfect with a few problem areas that’s easily fixable.

Re: 69 GMC risen from the dead
Got board waiting on parts to arrive so I went out to the garage and make a crossmember and shaved all the brackets off the diff even though it’s not the one I’ll be using lol . Then I started wondering if the one I was planning on replacing play an important roll in the chassis. if anyone knows please let me know. I’m referring the the one that sits directly behind the rearend that’s kind of slanted. I hope not because that angle it has drives me insane.
