Lightbulb Bed Swap

On top of wanting to shorten the fram from a LWB to a SWB, has anyone moved a 89-99 SWB bed onto an older frame? If so how difficult would it be? And Obviously the gas tank filler neck would have to be moved and replumbed for a tank behind the differential. Let me know if anyone has any info.

u mean step beds right? fleets just look wrong. on the steps the bottom body line matches up. the thing people dont like about them is the mismatched fender wells. i dont care about fenderwells but some people do.
