Cab Mount Spacer Dimensions
Hello,
Just reassembling the body on my 1972 K20. PO did not use correct mounts/spacers on his restoration and I had a question for you. Does anyone has the dimensions (length in particular) of the rear cab mount spacer between the cab and upper isolator?? Number 26 in the picture attached. I was hoping to save time and build my own vs waiting for shipping to Canada.. any help is appreciated. Thanks, Mark |

Just go to the hardware store and get a washer the same diameter or a little larger as the rubber bushing and 1/8" thick. Take the bolt with you. You might have to look in the tractor parts area.... They can be round or square, doesn't matter. Get a few of them. They should have come with the bushing kit. Maybe he pitched them instead of using them. LockDoc

Re: Cab Mount Spacer Dimensions
My thread from doing the mounts on a C20.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=770357 Instructions say to shorted to 3-7/8. http://imagesrv.catalograck.com/imgVD/ENE/17015.pdf Not sure what the length was originally, mine was too rusted to tell. I used a washer and a bit of metal tube.

Re: Cab Mount Spacer Dimensions
LocDoc,
I was looking for the length of the sleeve on that spacer more than the washer on top.I have plenty of big washers as spacers to help align body lines. RPMerf, thanks for the line on your threads. Much useful information. The C20 and K20 have the same body mounts... as per LMC anyway. I am sure that will work out for me. Cheers. Mark |

Sorry, couldn't really tell from the picture. I don't use LMC's catalogs. LockDoc
